Team Kit and Outstanding Chocolate Money Returns

post

The committee will open the clubhouse on Thursday the 5th September between 4:30pm and 6:00pm for all teams to return their team kits including all playing strips and training kits. Outstanding chocolate money can also be returned at this time.

Please ensure all shirts are back in the bag so that you are returning a complete kit. We do not want to or have the time to chase shirts that are missing from the kits.

Alternate Strip Missing

post

Our alternate strip is missing. The strip is predominately yellow and is used when our blue strip clashes with our visiting opposition. The strip has been used a few times this season however last time it was used someone took it home to wash it and has forgotten to return it.

If you have the strip, please let us know ASAP and arrange to get it back to us.

Chocolate Money Returns

post

Now that the regular season has completed and our clubhouse will no longer be open for games, those who still have chocolate money to return can now transfer the money into the Belmont FC bank account.

Please either send a message on Facebook or via the Feedback page on the website to obtain the bank account details.

Boot Out Breast Cancer

Thank you to the many supporters of our Boot Out Breast Cancer day held on July 27th.

We raised the fantastic amount of $3397 for the Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation.

The funds were raised through the sale of the pink socks, lolly guessing jar, the coloured hairspray stall & general donations on the day. Phill from Rathmines won the lolly guessing competition with the first closest guess of 187 – the actual amount was 186. Hope he & his son are enjoying all of those lollies!!

All of the Belmont Football Club teams that participated looked absolutely fabulous in their pink socks. Many teams have sent photos in to the Club website – check out the gallery.

I would like to thank Darren, Clint & the Belmont Football Club for their wonderful support of this fundraiser. The Boot Out Breast Cancer committee worked hard to create a successful day & I think we succeeded.

On behalf of the Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation & myself, thank you all for your participation & fundraising efforts.

Website and Social Media Manager Wanted

post

Are you (a little) tech savvy? Are you wondering how you can get involved with our great club, volunteering but without needing to spend time at the ground? This could be what you are waiting for.

We are in search of someone who can look after our website and Facebook page. The website is very simple to use and posting is a breeze. The committee provide you the information that they need shared online and with a little creative flair, you put together the post and display it for all to see. You’ll also be responsible for updating the page to advise as the whether the grounds are open or closed.

If you think you have what it takes to fill this position, are happy to learn or have some questions about the position, please don’t hesitate to make yourself known. You can either message via Facebook or complete the Feedback form on our website: http://belmontfc.com.au/feedback/

Social Football in the Off Season

post

Belmont FC is interested in holding some social football during the off season for anyone 15 years old and above. The idea is that we turn up most likely on a Friday afternoon/evening and split into teams and play some social games.

If you are interested in participating in this kind of social event, please let us know. We want to know that this concept is accepted before we decide to definitely go ahead with it.
