The Ryegrass program is now complete and we have been given the all’s clear to train and play on Marks Oval again.
Thank you to all teams for getting persevering with the difficult situation of limited training space but the playing surface will be much better throughout the season for the work that was done.
All of the regular season fixture listings have been released. To make it easier for everyone to find their team, we have grabbed links for each team and put them in the table below.
If you are unsure of your team, please check with your Coach/Manager in the first instance. If they are not able to advise you then they should contact the committee to find out and then they can notify the team.
Belmont FC would like to send thoughts and best wishes to one of our life members, Wayne Parkes who underwent open heart surgery yesterday. We would like to wish him and his wife Margaret all the best and hope that the recovery is speedy.

A development clinic for footballers in Macquarie clubs who play in U7s—U12s in the 2018 season
DATE: MONDAY 16th April to THURSDAY 19th April, 2018
VENUE: Lake Macquarie Regional Football Facility, 13 Park Road, Speers Point
TIME: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon (arrive 8.45am)
COST: 4 Days – $110, 3 Days – $90, 2 Days – $70, 1 Day – $40 (Fee includes football, drink bottle and BBQ on the last day)

Our Holiday Clinic is all about developing the players football skills in a fun and safe environment. Our qualified coaches will guide the players through exercises from the FFA National Coaching Curriculum to give the players the best possible training on the 4 core Skills. These are Striking the Ball; First Touch; Running with the Ball and 1 v 1.
Mini World Cup and BBQ on the last day and many prizes to be won!!!
Any team that has not yet submitted their training area and time to the committee need to do so ASAP.
The grounds are still currently closed for all activities due to the Ryegrass program.
Please also remember that any Belmont FC team doing any training away from Marks Oval need to inform the Belmont FC Committee prior to commencing the training session.
The clubhouse will be open on 3rd April from 6.30pm to 7.00pm to make rego payments or for purchasing shorts and socks.

We are still in need of players for our U13 team. We need a few more players to ensure that we can get a full team on the park each week.
If you are, or know some one that has turned or is turning 13 this year and they are interested in playing this season please register online ASAP (don’t forget to claim your Active Kids rebate voucher first) and get in touch with our Registrar (Joanne) to let her know.

Both of our playing fields are CLOSED from now until the 16th April due to the Ryegrass Program (which we have been having done each year) being done again.
The program sows our grounds with Ryegrass which grows well in the winter and provides us with a better playing surface. It is unfortunate that the program cannot be done during the summer but it needs to occur at this time of the year for the Ryegrass to establish itself.
Training for teams cannot be performed anywhere within the fenced area for grounds 1 and 2. Training areas outside of that area can be utilised such as the wet weather training areas including the RooBall field. All teams are expected to get along and share spaces but please remember that some teams have the RooBall field as their allocated training area so talk to other Coaches/Managers and work out what is fair and don’t take over others space.
