On Wednesday the 27th March, Belmont FC were fortunate enough to have some visitors from the Newcastle Jets run a training session for many of our Miniroos players from U6 through to U11 and then a trip to Belmont McDonalds with food provided.
We were delighted to be able to host Dimi Petratos, Kosta Petratos, Daniel McBreen and Craig Deans who were sensational with the entire event. From setting up and explaining the drills to playing along with the kids, motivating them and giving some pointers along the way.
Just quietly, Dimi told us that they (the Jets) had a really good training session earlier in the day and are a good chance of beating Wellington this Saturday. Go the Jets.
