Grounds Open
Both grounds are now available for training. Thank your for your cooperation during the ryegrass program.
While the ryegrass program continues on Ground 1, we have been given the all clear to start using Ground 2 again for training.
Ground 2 as well as the training areas outside of the fenced area are to be shared with all teams. Once we are given the go ahead and both grounds are available, the booked allocated training areas will come back into play but for now, please share the space.
This is a reminder that both grounds 1 and 2 are closed and not to be used for training. Please train on the RooBall field or on the training areas outside the fence on Park Street side of the ground.
While the Ryegrass program is still in place, we have the all clear to play our games on Ground 2. Training is to continue to only be in the areas outside the fence of Grounds 1 and 2.
During game days, please do not warm up on Ground 1, the only reason anyone should be on Ground 1 is to collect a ball that has strayed from the game on Ground 2.
The grounds are now closed due to the Ryegrass Program. Please ensure that you do NOT train inside of the fence surrounding grounds 1 and 2.
Training can be done on the RooBall field or any surrounding area but please keep in mind that many others will also be training so everyone needs to share.
If you train somewhere other than at Marks Oval, be sure to contact the Committee beforehand and advise of the location and time of your training session.
As a bit of a ‘Heads Up’ we are providing the planned locations (subject to change) and times for the Final Series games for the Belmont FC teams that either will definitely or can still can potentially finish in the top 4. If your team has been left out and should be on the list, please let us know using the Feedback page http://belmontfc.com.au/feedback/

We have had council out to repair two sections of the irrigation system on Ground 1. Both sections are on the RooBall end and are softer than the rest of the ground due to moisture. Please be careful if you are training near these two areas while the ground dries out.
We have inspected the grounds this afternoon and decided that providing the weather is kind to us this evening tomorrow’s games at Mark’s Oval will go ahead .
The grounds have been inspected and reopened for training
The grounds have been inspected today and will remain closed until at least Thursday.
